Advanced Math and Science Academy
As the Advanced Math and Science Academy prepares to celebrate its 10 year Anniversary, we are proud and honored to be recognized by the Chamber of Commerce with their Annual Spirit Award. AMSA is invested in strengthening partnerships within the city of Marlborough with the Marlborough Chamber being the conduit of that effort.
While we are happy to have Marlborough as our home, Clinton, Maynard and Hudson represent the other three communities included as our core towns. With that, AMSA has established productive business and educational partnerships in the greater Metrowest region with companies such as: Avidia Bank, AMD, Bose, Content Raven, EMC, Employment Options, ForeKicks, Google, Harvard University, Harvard Pilgrim, Intel, Iridescent, Massachusetts International Academy, MIT, MassTLC, Olin College of Engineering, Quinsigamond Community College, Saint Mary’s Bank, SMOC, University of Massachusetts Lowell, Raytheon, The Special Olympics, and Wheat Community Services. These partnerships provide learning opportunities for our students, collegial opportunities for faculty, as well as internships and sponsorship for student participation in regional and national competition as well as scholarships.
Recognized by US News and World Report as a Gold Medal School, AMSA is ranked 3rd in Massachusetts and 130th nationally. Regarding STEM Education Advanced Placement Performance, AMSA is considered 2nd among Massachusetts schools and 22nd nationally among the best 500 schools.
Our Mission states: “The Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School will create a learning environment that celebrates knowledge and where children of all backgrounds and abilities will excel in all subjects especially math, science and technology, enabling them to succeed in the workplace of a modern world.” We are proud to say that we have been faithful to the mission.
