Marlborough Regional Chamber Announces 2012 Business Award Winners

The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Business Awards Recognition Dinner on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel, 181 Boston Post Rd. WEST, Marlborough. beginning at 5:00 pm.

During the evening, seven local businesses/businesspeople will be recognized for their contributions to region’s business community throughout the past year. Recipients were nominated by fellow Chamber members on the basis of accomplishment, participation, and efforts to foster a stronger business environment.

“It gives me great pleasure to recognize our members for their accomplishments as well as their dedication to the mission of the Chamber,” said Susanne Morreale Leeber, CCE, President & CEO of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce. “This event is one our proudest moments of the year.”

Awards for the evening include:

Business of the Year: D. Francis Murphy Insurance Agency

Small Business of the Year: Marlborough Wellness Center

Business Person of the Year: Robert Gustafson of RKG Financial

Marlborough Pride Award: TD Bank

Marlborough Spirit Award: Mary and Randy Scott of Main St. Café

Green Award: New England Clean Energy

Entrepreneurship Award: Suzanne LaForge of Advantage: Small Business

Also, Membership Anniversary Recognition Awards will be presented for businesses celebrating 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 years as a member of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce.
