MARLBOROUGH, MA (September 27, 2016) — In conjunction with the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce, the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce is co-hosting an event for the Business Forward Females networking group on Tuesday, October 4, 2106 at 11:30am at the Courtyard by Marriott, 75 Felton Street, Marlborough, MA.

The First Lady of Massachusetts Lauren Schadt Baker and Chair of the Corridor Nine Chamber Mary Simone will hold a conversation on “Finding Your Life’s Passion.

Baker’s passion has been in the advertising world where she led and managed the development of brand campaigns for consumer products, technology companies and non-profit organizations in both New York and Boston. Today, she works as an independent marketing communications consultant building brand strategies for emerging companies.

Baker is also passionate about social responsibility and works to raise awareness and funding for children, education, health and social service organizations. She is a strong champion and supporter of many organizations and serves on the Regional Board of Directors for the American Red Cross of Massachusetts, is a founding member of the Tiffany Circle Society of Women leaders, is a board member of the Phoenix Charter Academy Foundation Board and Massachusetts Association for Mental Health, and is a former Board of Trustees member for Marian Court College, a small private college that catered to first generation students from low-income families.
