The MetroWest YMCA held its Annual Dinner Wednesday, May 17 where Fletcher Tilton received the Community Champion Award.  This award is presented to businesses or organizations who have actively partnered with the Y to improve the lives of children and families in the MetroWest community through philanthropic and volunteer support.  Community Champions lead by example, demonstrating the power of collaboration and the desire to give back.  Their investments of time, talent and treasure improve the quality of life in our community.

YMCA Board Chair Rev. Emmett Price III, presented the award and shared that, for decades, Fletcher Tilton has been a part of the MetroWest Y family providing key leadership on their Board of Directors and various committees.  “Passionate, well-respected and caring leaders like attorneys Faith Easter and Peter Barbieri have helped make our Y what it is today by generously giving of their personal time, talent and treasure.”

He shared that Fletcher Tilton has been with the Y from the beginning in support of their Annual Charity Auction leading the way as a Presenting Sponsor and as a recognized community leader.  This sponsorship raises critical dollars to support their LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program for Cancer survivors and their High Flight program for at risk teens.

“The Y has truly come to depend on the Fletcher Tilton team.  Regardless of the situation we know that when we reach out to Faith or Peter they will always be there to provide the support the Y needs or  connect us to the right person at the firm who will provide counsel and expertise in any area to make sure our YMCA effectively and efficiently serves our community”.
