DESCRIPTION:Get a jump on your troop’s summer of Scouting with our premier course for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. This spring’s Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) course is Friday through Sunday\, 5/13/16-5/15/16 (pre-course meeting on 5/4/16). \nIOLS presents all the basic skills you need to teach your Scouts through First Class and provides tips for teaching those skills in a patrol setting. Completion of this course (along with Position Specific Training) qualifies you to wear the “Trained” patch. \nThis course is the last one prior to this summer\, so don’t miss this opportunity for learning in a fun atmosphere at beautiful Nobscot Scout Reservation. \nRegister Here
