MARLBOROUGH, MA (February 14, 2017) The Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC), in conjunction with the Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), is holding a free educational workshop for businesses interested in working with government entities on Friday, March 3, 2017, from 7:30am to 9:30am at the Marlborough Courtyard by Marriott, 75 Felton Street, Marlborough, MA.
Workshop attendees will enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast while they learn from a panel of experts how to seek, secure, and benefit from government contract work. The panel of experts includes:
- Beverly Sleeper, Procurement Officer, City of Marlborough
- Doug Bushman, Director, Housing Authority, City of Marlborough
- Sandra Ledbetter, MA Small Business Development Center, Central Mass Procurement Technical Assistance Center
“Many businesses have secured government contracts through the education and connections provided by this workshop,” said Chamber President & CEO Susanne Morreale Leeber, a workshop organizer for the last four years.
