Course Description: This is a two day workshop on Reiki. Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing system that is used to promote healing, reduce stress and increase relaxation. Reiki uses the laying of hands and is simple, natural and safe. By the end of class you will know how to use Reiki on yourself, your family, your pets and even your plants! It’s wonderful to use all on its own, but can be combined with massage therapy and other healing modalities.
This workshop will cover the following:
* Explain what Reiki is, what it does, how it works
* Introduce our 7 major chakras (energy centers)
* Pass on the attunement to “turn on” Reiki in each student
* Teach the hand positions for self-healing
* Teach the hand positions for healing others
* Plenty of practice time
