SOLOMON POND MALL HOSTS THE
REGIONAL CUB SCOUT PINEWOOD DERBY
More than 75 local kids compete in the traditional Cub Scout event!

WHAT: Solomon Pond Mall will host about 80 Cub Scouts from eight area towns at the marquee Regional Pinewood Derby on Saturday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Children from Hudson, Marlborough, Maynard, Northborough, Southborough, Stow, Sudbury, and Westborough will be in attendance to compete!

Pinewood Derby cars are small wooden models that Cub Scouts make with help from family and friends. They come out to compete on a track provided by the mall and race their “grand prix” cars, which are powered by gravity. A great “day at the races” for the whole family!

11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: Tiger Awards
12 p.m.-1:30 p.m.: Cub Scout Race
1:30 p.m.-2 p.m.: Cub Scout Awards
