2016 Reality Check
As you may know, students are now required to be checked out by a “Credit Counselor” making sure that each required expense is allotted and the student can live within his/her means. Also, if expenses exceed income, the counselor can advise the student how to manage expenses better or assign the student a part time job to supplement his/her income. Also, AVRTHS has decided to “Assabettize” the game particularly with the “Wheel.” Paying for “misfortunes” will include options for having the work done in an AVRTHS shop. To carry out these important parts of the program, we will need additional volunteers, so we ask that you contact peers who may have interest in sharing this great volunteer experience with you.
We will provide an overview of the Fair along with the specific assignment for each volunteer. These will be mailed or e-mailed to each volunteer by June 7, so that they may review what’s in store before they arrive.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (508) 481-5453 or via email at mathorsen@verizon.net.
