Wood Badge Weekend #1
Wood Badge is the premier BSA Leadership program which is geared for training leaders in all BSA programs. The course is held over two 3-day weekends and covers all elements of leadership.
In our local area (a 3-council cluster), Wood Badge is offered every 18 months, rotating among the councils. The next course is in May and is an experience that you don’t want to miss.
Who should take Wood Badge? All leaders should take this course, including committee members.
When should leaders take it? Should they be “senior” leadership? Leaders should take this course as soon as they are “fully trained”. Isn’t it better to have a skill BEFORE you need it rather than AFTER you need it?
