Southboro’s First Annual Wine and Cheese Fest

For your convenience, here is our guide to Southboro’s FIRST Annual Wine and Cheese Fest. For our old Panzano friends — here’s a blast from the past for you: Fred Mullens, former GM of Panzano, will join us Saturday to reprise his wine savant role. Fred is universally loved in the wine world, and we are glad he’ll be with us.

What: First Anniversary Grand Tasting, featuring wine sale, cheese, grand tasting.

The Sale: 20% off ALL wines in the store, when you buy at least 6 bottles.

When you arrive: Proceed to the front of the store where you will register and pick up your numbered order sheet. This is CRUCIAL: Your numbered sheet is what you will need to pick up your wine.

You will also be able to purchase Riedel stemware for sampling wine, while supply lasts. Each glass is $5 (a $15 value!) Please note, you do NOT need to purchase glassware to get into the tasting.

Once you have your order sheet: Head into the Vin Bin and enjoy the wide array of wine, beer and cheese.

If you like wines, tell the vendors, they will put YOUR SPECIFIC number on the bottle and send it off to the back where it will be assembled and held until you are ready to leave.

Shop the store! While you are tasting, feel free to shop anything else in the store including the fine cheeses, gourmet items — and all the other wines. Remember, ALL wines are on sale, not just tasting wines.

Done. Now what? Head to the register — give the clerk your sheet, which will have your number on it, and we will bring your ALREADY assembled box out front to ring out. And remember to take home your wine glass. Need help to the car? We offer counter to car service — all day every day!
