Giselle Rodriguez Scholarship Fundraiser

The Giselle Rodriguez Scholarship Committee will be holding a wine and cheese tasting fundraising event to support future awards of the scholarship on Thursday June 14th from 5-PM at The Vin Bin.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance by contacting Brenda Geary (Brenda.Geary@hologic.com) or Joyce Bourgeois (Joyce.Bourgeois@hologic.com) at Hologic or at the door the evening of the event.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce office located at 11 Florence Street, Marlborough, MA. For questions, call 508-485-7746.
All ticket sales and 10% of the proceeds from the evening will be donated to the scholarship fund. The scholarship fund is managed through Hologic employees who knew Giselle and is 501 3(c) tax exempt through the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce. The scholarship committee also accepts private donations and they can be mailed to Brenda Geary/Giselle Rodriguez Memorial Scholarship, Hologic Inc., 250 Campus Drive, Marlborough MA 01752.

In her own special way, Giselle demonstrated the Hologic commitment to improving the lives of women through her vibrant spirit, generosity and caring for others. A scholarship is awarded to a female high school senior from Marlborough High School in furtherance of their post-secondary education. Applicants are required to demonstrate a financial need as well as describe how they embody the ideals exhibited by Giselle – specifically: academic achievement, persistence in the face of adversity, generosity and a commitment to community. Past recipients were 2010 – Kathryn McLaughlin, 2011 – Angela Mary Scott, 2012 – Nicole Keenan, 2013 – Grace Pisano, 2014 – Jayna Dixon, 2015 – Kailynn Palaima & Alysha McGovern, 2016 – Keily Gonzalez and in 2017 Clarie Cargill & Ana Barretto.
